We look at how you can effectively plan for your first appraisal and the preparation involved. We also discuss the role of the Manager and the person being appraised.
Setting Objectives
We look at setting SMART objectives to allow the delegates to create a series of measures to test their knowledge.
Feedback
We look at ways of providing effective feedback and allow the delegates to explore giving and receiving feedback in their groups.
Personal Development Plans
We allow the delegates to create their own personal development plans to enable them to support their teams in setting theirs.
Follow Up
We look at putting an action plan in place to follow up and measure performance on an ongoing basis.

Each delegate will have gained a better understanding of how to appraise employees correctly and how to gain their buy in to the performance process, and taking ownership of their own development. They will also be able to set clear and measurable objectives.
